Bookings

Course places are allocated on a first come first serve basis. As soon as I receive payment I will allocate you a place (if one is still available) and confirm your place by email. Paying by credit card is your quickest and safest way of making sure you get the booking you want.

If you decide to pay by cheque then please realise that it takes a day or so for the cheque to get to me and I have to wait around 3 working days for the cheque to clear. Only at that point do I have the money, and only then I can book you on the course. Obviously there is a much greater risk that the course date that you wanted could have been taken by credit card paying customers. If that happens then you will be offered alternative dates and your money refunded if none are suitable.

Cancellation

Courses MUST be paid in full prior to the course date. You may cancel your booking providing you give 30 full days notice prior to the course start date. Your money will be refunded in full, minus a £5 administration fee to cover credit card processing fees and other costs.

If you wish to cancel your booking between 30 - 15 days from the course start date then you will be refunded 50% of your booking fee, minus £5 administration fee to cover credit card processing fees and other costs.

No refund will be given, for any reason, for any cancellation made with less than 15 days notice of the course start date.

Course Days

There are two quite different methods of making soap - melt and pour, and cold processed. Your course will cover melt and pour soap making, rather than cold-processed soap which involves the use of hazardous materials and stringent safety precautions.

We may choose to make a video or audio recording of the course. By signing up you are agreeing to this and any subsequent use of this recording that we may make. Any written feedback from you may be used in testimonial form by us and you consent to this use.

You are responsible for making your own travel and accomodation arrangements, the cost of which is to be met by yourself and is not covered by the course fee. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided for mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks. Lunch is not provided and it is recommended that you come prepared with a packed lunch.
